Hi, Dennis here! I currently reside in Dequincy, Louisiana with my wife and six children. While I am a professional and pour my heart and soul into work, I am also a family man who loves spending quality time at home. I am attending I love using the internet and spend time on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and EBay as well as a host of sites pertaining to creative design and marketing. I studied Web Design and Interactive Media at The Art Institute of Pittsburg.

My professional background includes 15 years of management experience in the restaurant and retail industries. For the last four years, I have worked as a Casino Surveillance Technician. My desire is to work as a Multimedia Marketing Specialist who creates and delivers successful marketing strategies for print, web, social media, and broadcast.

I spent five years working my dream part time as the Media Director at Harvest Church. It was my responsibility to build and maintain the church website, as well as design ads, billboards, t-shirts, flyers and a host of other graphic design projects. As a Media Director, experience as a graphic designer, web designer, audio technician, video technician and IT guru. During my years at Harvest Church, I created successful email, print, radio, and web advertising campaigns. I was also responsible for adding live streaming video capabilities to the church website.

Over the years I have been involved in several freelance projects. One notable achievement is a site I designed for an American Idol Season 8 Top Ten finalist Michael Sarver. This website needed to include several things, a rotating banner at the top of the page, links to the iTunes store, an upcoming events section, and an internal feed for the AI insider’s blog. Other things Michael wanted were links to his social networking sites and video links including a pop up video player. At its launch, the website averaged nearly 18,000 visitors per year. In addition, banner ads were created for a new single and placed on American Idol's website and linked to Sarver’s Ferris Wheel video on the Country Music Television’s website.

I am a firm believer that knowledge is a great asset and that learning, especially in technology, should be a lifelong process. I have put that philosophy into practice through personal study and my decision to attend The Art Institute. Prior to attending school, I spent five years researching, studying, and practicing my favorite subjects; Website Design, Graphic Design, Photography, Branding, Identity and Marketing. During that time, I learned to use software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and Dreamweaver. Currently I am learning Flash, ActionScript 3, JavaScript, Video Editing, Audio Editing, as well as advanced HTML and CSS techniques. In 2012, I was inducted into the National Technical Honor Society for outstanding performance in college studies.

In addition to my passion for Multimedia Marketing, I am an avid photographer and tech junkie. I can often be seen shooting photos either from my phone or Nikon DSLR camera. Being a proud parent, my kids are usually the subject matter of choice. In my downtime, I can be found troubleshooting and repairing computers and other tech gadgets. If I were a millionaire, I would probably spend it all on lenses, accessories, computers, and gadgets.
